Beethoven’s magnificent Fifth Symphony, with its iconic opening, was paired with Brahms’ dramatic First Piano Concerto played by standout piano soloist Dominic Cheli in this masterworks showcase. Rossen Milanov celebrated the 10th Anniversary of his PSO debut (he was appointed music director in the summer of 2009).
