American Fanfare
Broadway star Julie Benko joins the Princeton Symphony Orchestra for this celebration of America's semiquincentennial, presented in partnership with the Municipality of Princeton. Showcasing music by some of the country's top composers with themes of Americana, the past, present, and future of American music comes alive.
The concert caps an afternoon of family-centered activities amid the historic grounds of Morven Museum & Garden. Come early for free family fun for children of all ages taking place from 1-3pm.
Julie Benko became a Broadway sensation as Fanny Brice in the recent revival of Funny Girl, earning the Dorothy Loudon Award for her performance and a New York Times "Breakout Star" nod for her celebrated understudy-to-star journey in the show. She most recently returned to Broadway as Emma Goldman in the acclaimed revival of Ragtime at Lincoln Center.
