Just Poetry: Readings

FREE EVENT
At the Stockton Education Center; Free, with RSVP

This year, the Princeton Festival is mounting Derrick Wang’s contemporary opera Scalia/Ginsburg, which tells the story of the unlikely friendship of two ideologically opposed U.S. Supreme Court justices. As part of the Festival, we invite writers from across New Jersey to create poetry exploring themes presented in the opera: Unlikely Friendships, Dissent, and Feminism.

You'll hear each poet read their original works aloud at this live event, giving voice to their words. Enjoy the poetry, and stay to enjoy the opera in a day of creativity, art, and music!

Guest poet Nicole Homer hosts the event, offering a separate workshop prior to the reading.
