Milanov talks about Prokofiev and Shostakovich against the backdrop of a politically tumultuous time. Composer Andreia Pinto Correia joins partway to discuss her piece Ciprés underscoring her compositional style and process prior to Milanov discussing Dmitri Shostakovich's Symphony No. 1.
