A mature man sits on stage holding a microphone while a young man gestures while speaking into a microphone.

Maestro Milanov and piano soloist Maxim Lando explore Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 2 together movement by movement while digging into why the concerto may not have received as much attention earlier. Milanov gives an overview of the first half of the concert program and talks about the styles of Giaochino Rossini and Felix Mendelssohn.
