Maestro Milanov discusses the collaboration between harpsichordist Mahan Esfahani and composer Julian Grant prior to the world premiere performance of "Vaudeville in Teal". Esfahani talks about his practice of fostering new music prior to Milanov and Grant revealing the common thread underlying between Viet Cuong's "Extra(ordinarily) Fancy", "Vaudeville in Teal", and Igor Stravinsky's "Pulcinella". Milanov and Grant additionally discuss Grant's compositional journey.
