Maestro Rossen Milanov spoke with cello soloist Maja Bogdanović prior to her performance of Camille Saint-Saëns' Cello Concerto No. 1 about her musical training, performance career, and the impact of motherhood. Milanov then gave a thorough overview of the tumultuous times in which Sergei Prokofiev composed his epic Symphony No. 5.
