You are invited to listen close up as the Princeton Symphony Orchestra unfolds its Classical Series close by, at Richardson Auditorium in Alexander Hall on the Princeton University campus. Join us for our extraordinary 28th season, when we perform works that celebrate the rich relationships between music and other arts, particularly those between music and the literary and visual arts.
The PSO is widely regarded as one of New Jersey’s finest musical institutions and a mainstay of Princeton community life. Our Five-Concert Classical Series, highly regarded for its deft programming, incorporating new or seldom-heard works with better-known repertoire, enjoys the patronage of an expanding audience. The March concert brings the season’s theme of music and art to its height, as the PSO will once again collaborate with the Princeton University Art Museum, showcasing three distinctive musical compositions inspired by specific paintings with accompanying lectures and gallery tours.
The PSO’s Chamber Series will continue at Wolfensohn Hall, Institute for Advanced Study, and also at the Montgomery Center for the Arts’ historic 1860 House / Stonebridge Auditorium.
The PSO’s Holiday Concert is a beloved community favorite for the whole family, and our fourth season of The Broadway Concert will enchant music lovers of all persuasions.
Whether you subscribe or attend a la carte, musical pleasures await. See you at the Symphony!
