Since 1995, the Princeton Symphony Orchestra has been “Bringing Renowned Artists for Valuable Outreach” (BRAVO!) to schools in our community. BRAVO! provides more than eighty small ensemble workshops, demonstrating the instruments of the orchestra at over thirty schools. These in-school presentations are followed up by orchestra concerts at Richardson Auditorium and other concert halls, attended by more than 6500 children. The 2006~07’s orchestra program, “BRAVO! Goes to the Opera,” featured brilliant operatic works by Rossini, Wagner, Puccini, Verdi, Bizet, Mozart, Gershwin, and Bernstein. The PSO is committed to enriching our community, engaging young audiences, and broadening our youth’s exposure to classical music with these free programs.
